Luxury Lodge 47 is a VIP lodge situated at Whitsand Bay Lodge Park, Cornwall.Owing to it\'s superb location on the park it overlooks Plymouth,Dartmoor,Bodmin & the sea at Tregantle.It sleeps 6 & consists of 2 toilets, 2 showers, 1 bath, 1 bidet, 3 bedrooms, one ensuite, a separate relaxation room comprising of an infra red sauna with mood lighting & CD/radio, steam cabinet & shower with radio/mp3 connection, an outdoor sunken Jacuzzi, full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer & integrated espresso station.

The lodge park is set back from the cliff with a road in-between the cliffs and 'gated' park entrance. Even though this is a self catering lodge various food packages are available to make your arrival & stay easier. Please enquire. The lodge is built to full UK residential standards for all year round occupancy; it is not your 'standard' pine clad interior lodge, it is a house . It is fully insulated ,centrally heated and double glazed throughout.

Lodge 47 is the only lodge on the park that has a dry sauna, steam cabinet, Jacuzzi, outdoor sofa, floor to ceiling windows in lounge, patio door in bedroom, work out room, coffee/espresso station, separate utility area with sink and washer/dryer; and numerous added extras for your enjoyment, including an indoor play table and box of children's toys, along with an outdoor water play table. We have also provided, an outdoor sofa, table/chairs, sun loungers, 3 beach boogie boards, swim floats, beach games, picnic chairs, flasks, blankets and other items to help you make the most of your break. Fresh bed linen, and complimentary use of towels, guest robes and toiletries are all included and placed in your lodge along with a welcome 'tea/coffee' package. Use of a free cot can be provided. Other park lodges do not include toiletries, some have towels, but a hire charge is usually levied for them and cots etc also carry a hire charge.

Whitsand Bay is part of the Rame Peninsular and is located at the beginning of the footstep from Devon into Cornwall. It pretty much remains unknown to the hordes of tourists who flock to Cornwall every year for their holiday break and boasts some of the most spectacular sandy beaches around our coastline. It is a popular surf spot and Whitsand Bay Golf Club is nearby. Even though Whitsand Bay is in Cornwall , it is only 7 miles from Plymouth city centre, with a direct bus service that stops outside the Lodge Park .Therefore, it is centrally located which allows you to venture further and deeper into Cornwall or pop back into Devon to explore the coast line and nearby towns and villages therein.

A number of villages are situated in Rame, they include Millbrook, Kingsand, Cawsand, St Johns, Crafthole and Whitsand Bay is situated at the centre of them all. It is located at the head of an amazing cliff top area, giving close access to sandy beaches, coastal walks, villages, and buses and driving routes directly into Cornwall.

This property is non-smoking and no pets, however other lodges , that do accept pets, can be booked through this enquiry . If you specifically want to stay at Lodge 47,there are boarding kennels and cattery literally five mins away from the Lodge Park. The kennel owners are used to holiday makers literally "collecting their pets for walks etc". The price starts @ £8 a day and includes food etc for your pet. The lodge is accessed via a gravel path, so it may not be user friendly for the elderly or people with impaired walking, also we do not have a ramp at present, to assist wheelchair users.. Please note that your car will be parked in a car park away from the lodge. There is no access for cars to drive up to the lodge, but you will be assisted on your arrival day, departure day with a golf buggy ride to transport and assist you to the lodge with luggage etc. The added benefit of no vehicles around the lodge, make it a safer environment for children.
