Dating back to 1636, this newly renovated three bedroom farmhouse with private courtyard and heated pool is packed with original features while offering all modern conveniences. It is situated in a quiet, rural location with large garden, just 3km from the small market town of Meyssac, 4km from Collonges-la-Rouge The large garden above the house looks out over fields and countryside, and incorporates an 10 by 4.5 metre heated swimming pool with Roman end. Both the beautiful 60 metre square terrace around the pool, and the courtyard in front of the house have plenty of garden furniture oth for sunbathing and al fresco dining. Next door to the house there is a small barn, the upper area of which is accessible from the garden and has been converted into a games room with table tennis table. Two adult bicycles are also available for guests use, and there is a badminton net set up in the garden The house is on two floors and accommodates up to 7 people. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one with large double bed, the other with two twin beds which can be turned into a double bed, and space for a third bed on request, so easily adaptable for guests both young and old. The large family bathroom has both a bath and walk in shower, as well as WC and sink unit. Steps lead down to the laundry room and rear entrance of the house. A handmade oak staircase leads up to the first floor. On the 1 st Floor there is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area is around the original fireplace with woodburning stove, and is comfortably furnished with large sofa and armchair. There is satellite TV, DVD and CD players, as well as a selection of books and games for all ages. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer, with breakfast bar- while the dining area comfortably seats 6. Leading off the main area to the rear of the house is the third bedroom with twin beds which can easily be transformed to a double, and en-suite shower room with sink and WC. Throughout the house you will find exposed stones, beams, and orginal features such as the stone sink and tiny alcoves cut into the stone walls which were used for storing salt, herbs and bread.
