Blandfords is a hidden treasure, approached by a footpath at the end of a cul de sac. An early eighteenth century cottage, it has been sensitively restored and is now a stylish retreat.

Entrance opens directly into the open plan sitting room with comfortable seating surrounding a large inglenook fireplace. Steps lead down to the 'Shaker' style kitchen, period in style but equipped with modern appliances: electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the kitchenware, crockery and cutlery that are needed for large parties. Double French doors lead from the kitchen to the conservatory/dining room which can seat up to 12 in comfort and which, itself, leads directly on to south facing decking and from there to the garden. Bedroom 1: Has twin zip and link beds so suitable for either singles and couples. The ensuite shower room houses a shower, loo, basin, washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

First Floor Spiral stairs lead up to the first floor where there is: Bedroom 2:Family/group bedroom with 2 zip and link beds and a further trundle/single. Bedroom 3: With 2 zip and link beds and suitable for either singles or a couple. Family shower room with a large shower, loo and basin. Bedroom 4: Master bedroom with 2 zip and link beds for a couple or 2 singles and an ensuite bathroom with a bath, loo and basin. Additional sleeping Double sofa bed.

Oakridge Lynch is a small, friendly village, famous locally for its maze of footpaths. It boasts a school, 2 churches, a shop and a very good pub and is well placed for all the attractions of the Five Valleys and, indeed, the whole of the Cotswolds. Lying mid-way between Stroud and Cirencester and is within 8 miles of Cheltenham [racing/shops] and Gloucester [docks]. Bath, Tetbury and Oxford are all an easy drive away.

The Old Mill, either on its own or taken with the neighbouring property, Blandfords, is the perfect venue for large groups of friends and family to get together. The living space is generous and the layout enables people to separate into smaller groups and enjoy different activities while still being able to come together as a whole, especially at meal times.
