Our family run self catering chalets, lodges and cottages are tucked away in Lerags Glen just 2.5 miles south of the bustling seaside town of Oban – ‘Gateway to the Isles’. Nestled between the hills with glorious, untamed countryside all around, the chalets are a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Beautifully located lodges with 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a large living area with sofa bed (max 2 extra guests). Family bathroom with shower over bath. Separate hallway with storage cupboards. Stable doors - let the sunshine and fresh air in but don't let the dogs and children out! (Please request on booking.) Fully fitted kitchen with full size oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and large dining area. Fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, duvets and pillows For our regular winter divers The Barn (our country pub on site) is a huge attraction. For spring fishermen our hill loch’s challenging brown trout lead to many fishy tales over a pint. For walkers and pet owners we’ve endless waymarked forest trails over the hills and plenty of facilities to dry out afterwards! For Honeymooners and couples seeking the perfect get-away location, Cruachan’s stunning views provide wonderful lifelong memories. All our properties have efficient heating in every room and the hot water and fridge will be on for your arrival. Your beds will be made up and if you have booked to use the sofa bed/s we will leave extra linen as required. Hogmanay is a wonderful time to visit Cologin. We have a live band in the Barn (our pub and restaurant on site) and many of our customers have been bringing in the New Year with us for several generations which creates a great house party atmosphere as old friends meet and mingle with those who are joining us for the first time.
